PENNSYLVANIA – Sweltering temperatures will give way to the possibility of another round of severe weather in Pennsylvania on Thursday, forecasters said. Damaging winds, heavy rain and even a tornado are possible.
The major threats to the state are damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph, hail and localized flooding, according to the National Weather Service. A tornado also “can’t be ruled out” the agency said.

While the major threats of Thursday’s storm are expected to subside by around 9 p.m. for most of the state, additional thunderstorms and heavy rain are anticipated to hit the region Friday and through the weekend.
