Powerball ticket sold at Gettysburg’s Blue and Gray bar & grill nabs $150,000 prize

A Gettysburg bar and grill recently sold a winning Powerball lottery ticket that won a large sum, according to the Pennsylvania Lottery.

The ticket was sold at downtown Gettysburg’s Blue and Gray Bar & Grill, located at 2 Baltimore Street in the Gettysburg Borough square.

After matching four of the five white balls drawn, 7-11-21-53-61, and the red Powerball 2, on Saturday, the ticket, a Powerball with Power Play ticket, won $150,000 during the Saturday, March 29 Powerball drawing.

The ticket would have originally been worth only $50,000, according to the lottery, but drew a three-times multiplier on its added $1 “Power Play” option.

Blue and Gray will be awarded a $500 bonus for selling the ticket, the lottery said.

Meanwhile, across the country, a jackpot-winning Powerball ticket matched in California during the March 29 drawing. That ticket, according to the lottery, resulted in a win of an estimated annuity value of $526.5 million or $243.8 million in cash.

In its release, the Pa. Lottery reminded winners that winning tickets should immediately be signed on the back, and that winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prize.
