A wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 4:28 p.m. in effect until 9 p.m. for Carbon, Monroe, Berks, Lehigh, Northampton and Bucks counties.

The weather service states to prepare for, “Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 40 to 50 mph.”

“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” comments the weather service. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”

Advance Local Weather Alerts is a service provided by United Robots, which uses machine learning to compile the latest data from the National Weather Service.
