Pennsylvania police officer killed, another injured while responding to ‘domestic incident’: reports

A police officer was killed and one other officer was injured in McKeesport, Pennsylvania Monday morning, whereas responding to a “home incident,” in accordance with native stories. 

The violence unfolded within the 1300 block of Grandview Avenue. Sources informed WPXI the officers had been responding to a home incident involving an unstable man when the suspect opened hearth on the officers.

Sources informed WTAE that the suspect has been shot. The circumstances of the injured officer and the suspect are recognized.

The McKeesport Space College District mentioned earlier its faculties and buildings had been on lockdown on account of close by police exercise. The lockdown has since been lifted.
