Injuries reported after train derailment in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania
It occurred on the 2400 block of Freeport Highway close to the Allegheny Valley Joint Sewage Authority therapy plant.
In accordance with ABC affiliate WTAE, a complete of 17 automobiles derailed. Chopper video confirmed among the prepare automobiles within the Allegheny River.
A building car was reportedly crossing the tracks when it collided with the prepare. The motive force of the development car and a number of prepare operators have been taken to an space hospital for unknown accidents.
Allegheny County Emergency Administration tells WTAE that the liquid being carried by the tankers has been contained.
The prepare that derailed is a Norfolk Southern prepare, an organization spokesperson confirmed.
