Gas Prices Across Western Pennsylvania – ButlerRadio.com – Butler, PA

Gas prices declined slightly both locally as well as across western Pennsylvania as a whole this week.

According to AAA’s weekly gas price report, the average price for a gallon of regular, unleaded, self-serve gas in Butler, as of Monday, dropped by a penny to reach $3.67 per gallon.

The average gas price across western Pennsylvania as a whole also dropped by a penny over the same period of time to settle at $3.65. The most affordable average price for gas in the area can be found in DuBois at $3.44, while the most expensive is in Beaver at $3.73.

The average national gas price increased by a penny over the past week to reach $3.56 which is three cents more per gallon than a month ago and $1.39 less than one year ago.

Although demand for gas remained high, the price of oil remains relatively low due to an increase in domestic gasoline stocks.
