Students and instructors at the “Central Pennsylvania Institute Of Science And Technology,” along with the “Builders Association Of Central Pennsylvania,” are taking part in the first ever “DIY Do Or Don’t Home Improvement Series.”

The event allowed construction and horitulcure students at C.P.I., to teach adults the do’s and dont’s, when working on “do it yourself” home projects.

Leaders say these types of free courses help the students show what they’ve learned to other people.

“It’s so important to have our students become the teacher, I’ve been in education over twenty years, and when you can have students teach what they’ve learned, that’s when you know they truly understand that concept.” says Jennifer Martin of C.P.I.
