Amtrak train fatally strikes 2 juveniles on tracks in Pennsylvania

CHESTER, Pa. — Two juveniles have been struck and killed by an Amtrak practice touring by way of Pennsylvania on Saturday, authorities stated.

A spokesman for Amtrak stated two individuals had been “trespassing” on the tracks once they have been struck by southbound Prepare 161 at 4:29 p.m. EDT, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported. The practice was heading from New York to Washington, in response to the newspaper.

Members of the Chester Police Chaplain Corps confirmed to KYW-TV that the victims have been two kids. Their identities and ages haven’t been launched.

“There was about 5, or six, or seven of them. In a press release, the corporate stated it was dangerous to trespass on practice tracks, The Washington Publish reported.
