New York Metropolis cops have arrested a person who was allegedly “swinging an axe” whereas on the A-train.

Obadiah Lashley, 27, was arrested on Friday simply after 4:00 p.m. after cops responded to a 911 name of a person swinging a pickaxe whereas on the A-train on the Seashore 67 Avenue subway station, in keeping with a New York Metropolis Police Division spokesperson.

Lashley was arrested by officers after seeing him with the pickaxe, in keeping with the spokesperson. No accidents have been reported on account of the incident.

He’s being charged with menacing and reckless endangerment.

“It should’ve been a harrowing name for our 911 operator to listen to & relay – a report by a straphanger of a person swinging an axe on an A-train. Fortunately with our enhanced deployment, District 23 officers have been on the prepared, intercepting the shifting prepare & taking the person into custody,” a tweet from the New York Metropolis Police Division Transit Bureau states.
