Women and children in New Jersey are among the healthiest in the nation, according to a new nationwide ranking.
The UnitedHealth Foundation released the America’s Health Rankings 2024 Health of Women and Children Report on Wednesday, with New Jersey cracking the list of the top five healthiest states.
New Jersey ranked fourth in the nation in the annual report, up from seventh place in 2023. The ranking is based on an analysis of more than 100 publicly reported metrics measuring physical and mental health and quality of life.
