NTSB releases new details on deadly South Jersey plane crash
A celebration of life is scheduled for Thursday for 23-year-old Thomas Gibson.
In line with the NTSB, Gibson took off from the Paramount Air Airport round 9:36 a.m. on July 16.
Gibson, who was piloting a Piper PA-12, traveled in a 180-degree flip to select up a banner after taking off, which is commonplace apply, in line with the NTSB.
However federal investigators say Gibson missed the banner pick-up and finally crashed the airplane.
The NTSB says a full report on the crash may take 12 to 24 months to finish.
In line with his obituary, Gibson was born in Washington Township and lived in a number of South Jersey communities, together with Ocean Metropolis.
He graduated from Shawnee Excessive College in 2017 and graduated from Marywood College in 2021.
“Thommy was very athletic and beloved many sports activities and actions similar to soccer, lacrosse, basketball, paintball, and golf. Aviation was his ardour. His associates had been his world, and Lauren Fritzsch was the love of his life,” the obituary learn.
A celebration of his life can be held Thursday, July 21, at Greate Bay Nation Membership in Somers Level, New Jersey.
Visitation is from 5 p.m. till the time of his service at 6 p.m.
