NJ releases new affordable housing quotas. See your Central Jersey town’s numbers

The Department of Community Affairs’ release of new affordable housing goals for New Jersey’s 564 municipalities for the next decade has sparked a political and legal battle.

The numbers, released late Friday afternoon, call for 84,698 affordable units statewide to be designated in the next decade added to the present need for 65,410 units.

Here’s a breakdown of the numbers by town in Central Jersey.
