New Jersey lottery player wins $100,000 on $5 scratch-off ticket. Here’s where

Winter may feel like it’s winding down, but it is just heating up for one New Jersey lottery player.

Someone in Hudson County won $100,000 playing a $5 Candy Cane Cash scratch-off ticket − a holiday and winter-themed game.

“Someone’s winter blues just disappeared!” the New Jersey Lottery posted on Instagram on Tuesday.

The winning scratch-off ticket was sold at J&M Food on Garden Street in Hoboken.

The Candy Cane Cash game began on Nov. 2 offering prizes ranging from $10 to $50,000 with three top prizes of $100,000.

All three grand prizes have been won. The others were sold at:

  • $100,000, Ultra Mart on Park Avenue in Edison
  • $100,000, A & M Convenience on South Clinton Avenue in South Plainfield
