N.J. ranks 3rd in nation for fastest home sales despite market slowdown
New Jersey residents thinking about putting homes up for sale should expect to see listings linger longer on the market, but the state remains among the top three hottest for fast home sales in the nation, the latest data from Realtor.com shows.
New Jersey homes sold within a median of 56 days of hitting the market in January, four days longer than in December and nearly two weeks longer than November, the data showed. Homes were selling at a median of 33 days in June.
Rhode Island and Maryland had the fastest selling homes in the nation in January.
