Another Dumpster In Downtown Concord Set Ablaze: Watch

CONCORD, NH — Concord firefighters extinguished another downtown dumpster fire on Tuesday.

Around 6:45 p.m., Capital Region Fire Dispatch received a report that the dumpsters behind the Durgin Block Garage on School Street were on fire. Dispatch suggested entering from the Warren Street side.

About 14 months ago, a fire was reported at the same dumpsters.

The fire commander confirmed one dumpster was on fire and stretched a line to blast water on the flames. The fire was put out around 7 p.m.

Three gas canisters were seen on the ground next to the dumpster. Fire prevention also called the battalion commander.

News 603 posted a short video on Facebook before the fire was extinguished.
