After Sexual Assault Arrest, Nashua Teen Violated Bail With Gun Threat: Police
NASHUA, NH — A local teen was accused of sexually assaulting a woman in one city and pulling a gun on her in another, according to police.
On June 10, Nashua police took a report about a possible violation of bail conditions involving a gun. Detectives worked the case and, while doing so, learned the suspect, Aidan Medbury, 19, of Nashua, had been arrested on “multiple counts” of aggravated felonious sexual assault in Manchester, Sgt. John Cinelli, the public information officer and communications division supervisor for the Nashua Police Department, said.
Medbury was released on $500 cash bail and ordered to stay away from the woman.
Cinelli said police accused Medbury of violating the conditions of his bail on Jun 9 by going to the woman’s home in Nashua and “pointing a firearm at her,” he said. A warrant was issued for Medbury’s arrest.
In Massachusetts, state police arrested him on June 12 during a motor vehicle stop. He waived extradition and was held at the Middleton House of Corrections pending transport to Nashua. Two days later, he was charged in Nashua with felony reckless conduct-domestic violence and stalking-domestic violence charges.
Medbury was held on preventative detention and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on June 17.
The Nashua Police Department requests anyone with more information about this incident to contact the Crime Line at 603-589-1665.
Back in November 2023, Medbury was accused of retaining a stolen car, driving it at an unsafe speed, and crashing into another vehicle and a building in Manchester. He was indicted on the charges later. On March 25, he pleaded guilty to reckless conduct and disorderly conduct charges while the receiving stolen property, crash, and disobeying an officer charges were nolle prossed. Medbury was sentenced to two 12-month concurrent sentences, all suspended for five years, and a $3,000 fine.
