Severe thunderstorm warning issued for parts of southern NH, Massachusetts under watch

BOSTON — A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for parts of southern New Hampshire Friday.

The thunderstorm warning is for southeastern Hillsborough County and is scheduled to be in effect until 5:15 p.m., according to the NWS. Notable communities under the warning are Manchester, Nashua and Merrimack.

A thunderstorm watch is also in effect for Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden, Hampshire, and Worcester counties in Massachusetts until 8 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
