National French Fry Day: How to get free fries in Massachusetts Friday

There is even more reason to celebrate that it is Friday on July 12 because it is National French Fry Day.

The holiday is recognized every second Friday in July and encourages people to honor the classic American side dish.

To celebrate National French Fry Day, many participating chains with locations in Massachusetts are offering deals, including free french fries. See more details below:

McDonald’s: Those who have the McDonald’s app can get free medium fries with any $1 purchase or more on Friday, July 12 or any other Friday through Dec. 27, 2024. McDonald’s is also giving away any size order of fries for free, no purchase necessary, in the McDonald’s app on Saturday, July 13.

Burger King: Burger King Royal Perks members can get free fries on National French Fry Day, and every other Friday in 2024, with the purchase of $1 or more. Royal Perks members also get twice the amount of Crowns in rewards with purchases containing fries when they order between July 12 and 14.

Taco Bell: People part of the Taco Bell Rewards loyalty program can buy a Nacho Fries Lover’s Pass for $10 Friday, July 12 through Monday, July 15. The pass entitles you to a regular size order of Nacho Fries every day for the next 30 days in the Taco Bell app.

KFC: Members of the KFC Rewards loyalty program can get any sized order of KFC’s Secret Recipe fries with any online purchase on Friday, July 12.

Wendy’s: Customers can get a free order of fries on National French Fry day when they order Wendy’s through the Wendy’s app The deal runs through the rest of the year as well.

Raising Cane’s: Members of Raising Cane’s Caniac Club loyalty program can get a free order of fries on Friday, July 12. The offer will available in people’s accounts and can be redeemed by swiping their Caniac Club card, placing an order online or scanning their QR codes within the mobile app.

Smashburger: Customers can get a free regular-sized order of Smash Fries with any purchase all day on Friday, July 12 at participating locations in Massachusetts and online with code “FRYDAY24.” Smashburger Rewards members can also get free fries when they place an order of $10 or more.

Wahlburgers: Members of the WahlClub loyalty program can get free fries from Friday, July 12, to Monday, July 15 with a purchase of $10 or more. Members must use the code “fryday” online, in the app, or in person to redeem the reward.
