Massachusetts lawmakers push to pass minimum wage for ride share drivers
BOSTON — Massachusetts lawmakers are pushing to go a minimal wage for experience share drivers.
New payments have been filed within the Home and Senate final week. They’d assure a minimal wage for Uber and Lyft drivers and mandate paid sick go away, unemployment insurance coverage, discrimination safety, and collective bargaining rights.
In accordance with State Home Information Service, the Worldwide Affiliation of Machinists and 32BJ SEIU help the payments.
The payments are backed by Reps. Frank Moran and Carlos González, and Sens. Jason Lewis and Liz Miranda. They increase on a invoice filed by Lewis final session.
