Hingham teen arrested after crashing boat while intoxicated onto shore of NH lake

SUNAPEE, N.H. – A Hingham teenager was arrested Saturday evening for crashing a ship whereas intoxicated onto the shore of a New Hampshire lake.

New Hampshire State Police say they have been referred to as round 10 p.m. for a boating crash on Lake Sunapee close to the Lake Sunapee Yacht Membership.

Police later discovered a 22-foot boat that was roughly 20 toes onto shore, resting on a steep hill. The 2 folks within the boat weren’t damage. 

A person crashed his boat on a steep hill on shore close to a lake in New Hampshire whereas driving intoxicated.

Michael Smith, 19, was arrested and charged with boating whereas intoxicated.

The crash was reportedly heard throughout the lake at Blodgett Touchdown in Newbury.
