GILBERT, Ariz. – Martha Wilson, 86, handed away on Nov. 10, 2022 in Gilbert, Ariz.
Martha was born in Clinton, Maine to Marybelle Wright Griffith and Linwood Griffith. After graduating from Northbridge Excessive Faculty in Whitinsville, Mass., Martha accomplished a secretarial program then labored at Clark College in Worcester, Mass.
In 1958 Martha met Warren Wilson at her aunt’s farm in Benton, Maine. They have been married for 55 years, from 1959 till Warren’s demise in 2015. Martha and Warren had three youngsters, Lynn, Ellen and Michael, and raised their household in Falmouth. Martha labored for a few years as an administrative assistant at Grossman’s and completed her profession at Well being Source in Yarmouth. Together with elevating her youngsters, Martha loved gardening, baking, ceramics, pottery, and card video games. She had a depraved humorousness and was a cutthroat poker participant when M&Ms have been at stake. Martha was an excellent prepare dinner recognized for her home made preserves, donuts, bread and Christmas cookies.
Martha was predeceased by her husband, Warren, brother, Daniel Griffith, and oldsters, Marybelle and Linwood Griffith. She is survived by her youngsters, Lynn Wilson of Bethel; Ellen Wilson-Chester and her husband Rick Chester and son Cody of Gilbert, Ariz.; and Michael Wilson and his spouse Carolyn Graney and kids Thomas and Yenenesh of South Portland.
A small service was held with household in Arizona. An interment service will happen in Clinton, Maine in summer time 2023.
