Mostly sunny Sunday, scattered afternoon showers in Northwestern Maine

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – Mostly sunny skies to start off this Sunday morning. Some cloudier conditions and scattered showers enter Northwestern Maine by noon. Scattered showers with some isolated downpours continue for much of Western and Northern Maine throughout the afternoon. Downeast and Coastal areas stay dry and mostly sunny. High temperatures from the mid 70s to low 80s. Dewpoints in the low to mid 60s.

Some scattered showers continue in central areas during the overnight hours. Low temperatures range throughout the mid 50s to low 60s.

Monday will start off with showers along the Central Coast. Coastal showers dissipate by the afternoon, where scattered showers and thunderstorms develop North and West of I95 with an isolated shower chance South of I95. Downeast communities stay the driest. Most communities will see partly sunny skies on Monday. High temperatures range from the upper 60s on the coast to the 70s elsewhere. Dewpoints in the upper 50s and low 60s.

Tuesday looks to be mostly sunny. A slight shower chance in Northern Maine. High temperatures range from the mid 70s to low 80s. Dewpoints jump up into the sticky mid 60s.

Wednesday looks to be partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms throughout the afternoon. Temperatures range from the upper 60s in Northern Maine to the low 80s in Southwestern Maine. Dewpoints in the lower to mid 60s.

Thursday should be sunny for all communities. High temperatures range from the upper 60s to mid 70s. Dewpoints drop off Thursday morning from the mid 60s to the mid 50s.

Friday should be sunny for all communities again. High temperatures range in the low to mid 70s. Dewpoints comfortable in the mid to upper 50s.

SUNDAY: Partly to mostly sunny skies with scattered afternoon showers for Northwestern Maine. High temperatures in the mid 70s to lower 80s. Dewpoints in the low to mid 60s.

MONDAY: Partly sunny skies. Morning showers for the Central Coast. Scattered showers and thunderstorms develop North and West of I95 in the afternoon. High temperatures throughout the upper 60s and 70s. Dewpoints in the upper 50s and lower 60s.

TUESDAY: Mostly sunny skies. Slight shower chance in Northern Maine. High temperatures in the mid 70s to low 80s. Dewpoints in the mid 60s.

WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. High temperatures range from the upper 60s to low 80s. Dewpoints in the low to mid 60s.

THURSDAY: Sunny skies. High temperatures throughout the upper 60s to mid 70s. Dewpoints in the mid 50s.

FRIDAY: Sunny skies. High temperatures in the low to mid 70s. Dewpoints in the mid to upper 50s.
