Man attacked in Maine Walmart parking lot, car stolen
AUBURN, Maine (WMTW) – Police in Auburn are investigating after a man says he was sprayed with mace and attacked by another man in the parking lot of Walmart before the suspect stole his car.
The victim told police he was parked on the garden side of the store Tuesday evening when the suspect approached him and asked for a ride. Police say, a short time later, the suspect attacked the victim and took his car.
As of Wednesday afternoon, police were still looking for the 2013 blue Mitsubishi Lancer with Maine license plate 253 JFB.
Police were also still looking for the suspect, described as a white male with facial hair and dark clothes.
