Maine soldiers return from deployment

WATERVILLE, Maine (WMTW) – 100 twenty-five troopers of the 488th Navy Police Firm with the Maine Nationwide Guard are getting back from the Southwest border.

The unit departed in October 2021 in assist of U.S. Customs and Border Safety. The 488th assisted Customs and Border Safety by working vehicle-mounted cell surveillance platforms and distant video surveillance techniques, then relaying crucial info to regulation enforcement authorities.
