Maine Pond Hockey Classic set for Feb. 14-17

SIDNEY, Maine (WABI) – The Maine Pond Hockey Classic is back at Sidney’s Snow Pond Center for the Arts from Feb. 14-17.

This year’s edition will bring a few new things: a youth pond hockey tournament, an ice golf tournament, and a boot hockey division for non-skaters.

“We’re excited to come back. We’re on some really good ice right now, 10 inches of clear, black ice, which is amazing this early. All the money we raise here will support youth and families in Central Maine,” said Patrick Guerrette, tournament director, AYCC chief operating officer.

The event will be raising money for the Alfond Youth & Community Center.
