The Maine Lobster Pageant is looking for an artist to create the 2023 pageant poster. Yearly, hundreds of those posters are hung throughout Maine and past to advertise the pageant, and to be bought as keepsakes. The pageant is on the lookout for simply the fitting inventive expertise to make the 2023 poster.
The winner will obtain a $1,000 fee and should launch the rights of the art work to the Maine Lobster Pageant. Artists are requested to submit samples of their work and a bio. A requirement for the poster is a big lobster, so it’s useful for the committee to see a pattern lobster. The deadline for submissions is Friday, Dec. 30, 2022. Submissions can be accepted on-line on the pageant’s web site. The successful artist can be chosen by a committee.
