Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger exceeds fundraising goal
Maine (WABI) – The Maine Credit Unions Campaign for Ending Hunger exceeded their fundraising goal for the 2023.
The Maine Credit Union League announced the campaign raised over $1.2 million.
Their goal was $200,000.
The campaign also says it presented the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital with a $20,000 check to help patients and families facing food insecurity.
Since the campaign stated in 1990, it has raised over $13.5 million to end hunger in the state.
