Gov. Janet Mills has confirmed her dedication to placing Maine first by arduous work, collaboration and motion.

As a grandparent and retired trainer, it’s nice to see Maine kids coming first by funding in public faculties that may fund the state’s obligation to pay 55% of the price of Okay-12 schooling. This accomplishment represents the primary time since 2004 when voters handed requirement that the state contribute 55% towards price for public schooling.

The Mills administration can be offering pre-Okay grants to assist faculties improve entry to high quality, public pre-Okay.
