BRUNSWICK, Maine (AP) – The founding father of a Maine music chain has stepped down, bringing new management to a fixture on the New England document retailer circuit.

Brett Wickard based Bull Moose in 1989 when he was a scholar at Bowdoin School in Brunswick.

The Bangor Each day Information reported Tuesday he’s staying on as chair of the chain’s board of administrators, however plans to deal with rising his retail software program administration firm.

Shawn Nichols is taking on for Wickard as chief government officer and president of the chain.
