For a couple of years running, Empire Kitchen in Portland, Maine, has been spotlighted as the “best” Chinese restaurant in the state.

This time around, it’s another favorite within the city, Sichuan Kitchen. The small but delicious stop along Congress Street in Portland has been serving up great dishes for nearly a decade.
