$6.5 million in grants awarded through Maine Jobs and Recovery Plan

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – Governor Mills has announced $6.5 million in grants through her Maine Jobs and Recovery Plan to support upgrades to the electrical grid for Maine businesses.

Six Maine companies will receive the grants.

They include Five Pillars Butchery in Unity, Heiwa Tofu in Rockport, The Holy Donut in Arundel, Kingfish Maine in Jonesport, Maine Plywood USA in Bingham, and Tanbark Molded Fiber Products in Saco.

The money will allow the businesses to invest in new infrastructure, grow their workforce, and expand operations.
