Portion of Route 4 in Burlington closed after vehicle strikes utility pole
BURLINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — A vehicle crash has closed a portion of Route 4 in Burlington, fire officials said.
The area between Mountain Spring and Vineyard Road is closed after a vehicle crashed and allegedly knocked down a utility pole, causing downed wires, a leaking transformer, and burned pavement, according to fire officials.
Fire officials said the road will remain closed for an extended period while the Connecticut Department of Transportation and Eversource make repairs.
