Police: Person found dead in Deep River after reported ‘disturbance’
A person was found dead in Deep River after reports of a disturbance Saturday afternoon and a suspect has been taken into custody, police said.
State troopers from Westbrook responded to reports of a disturbance just before 3:30 p.m Saturday and found a person dead at the address to which they were called, according to Connecticut State Police.
The person who died had not yet been identified, police said.
A suspect in the investigation was taken into custody in Massachusetts, police said, but no further information was available as of early Sunday.
An investigation was active and ongoing and there was “no active threat to the public,” police said.
