Police investigating East Hartford shooting
An investigation is underway in East Hartford after a shooting Sunday night.
Police say it happened in front of 217 Burnside Avenue near Ecology Drive.
The investigation has been growing as more police arrive and they expand the scene.
Right now, East Hartford Police are saying very little except some sort of shooting had officers racing to the area.
It is unclear if anyone was injured or if any arrests have been made.
We spoke with people in the area, including someone who says there were sounds of a commotion.
“I see a lot of chaos going on, a lot of police cars and everything. This neighborhood is a peaceful neighborhood. I haven’t seen a lot of chaos like this for a while so I was just wondering what is going,” Errol Darlington of East Hartford explained.
East Hartford Police are continuing to investigate.
