Police: 26-year-old man killed in Waterbury shooting
A 26-year-old man was killed in a shooting early Sunday morning in Waterbury, police said.
Officers responded to reports of shots fired about 5 a.m. and found an empty vehicle in the road and evidence of a shooting near Main Street and Division Street, according to the Waterbury Police Department.
Investigators learned that a 26-year-old man had been taken to Saint Mary’s Hospital with a gunshot wound. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital, police said.
