Connecticut mask order for healthcare settings expires

Conn. (WWLP) – An order requiring unvaccinated and vaccinated individuals to put on face masks inside Connecticut homeless shelters and well being care settings together with nursing houses and hospitals is expiring.

Governor Ned Lamont signed a invoice that extends 4 former government orders to manage the pandemic by June thirtieth, however the healthcare masks mandate was not amongst them.

The state’s Public Well being Commissioner says the mandate will expire at midnight Friday.
