Townsend police are investigating after a truck careened into a house Sunday.

Townsend first responders arrived at the house on Main Street around 6:40 p.m. to find the truck embedded in the side of the house.

The driver, a 38-year-old Ashby man, was able to exit the vehicle prior to the arrival of first responders and was transported to an area hospital.

No one inside the home was injured. A building inspector will eventually determine the house’s structural integrity.
