Lee was promoted to associate head coach on Mike Budenholzer’s staff last season after spending seven years as an assistant for the two-time Coach of the Year winner in Atlanta and Milwaukee.
After the Bucks’ decision to move on from Budenholzer following the team’s early playoff exit, Lee was a finalist for the head coaching jobs in Toronto and Detroit this summer. Lee also took head coaching interviews in New Orleans and Washington in 2022.
