Police are investigating after two automobiles have been closely broken in separate fires involving burning trash cans early Thursday morning in South Boston, officers stated.

Officers responded to the nook of F and West First streets round 1:45 a.m., the place a grey Mazda was discovered broken by a trash can burning beside it, in response to a police report on the incident.
