Person stabbed in Boston Star Market Tuesday afternoon, police say

A person was stabbed in a Boston grocery store Tuesday afternoon, according to the Boston Police Department.

At around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to a report of a person stabbed at the Star Market at 4 River St. in Boston’s Mattapan neighborhood.

First responders rushed the stabbing victim to a Boston-area hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

As of 5:30 p.m., police have not found the stabbing suspect and are still investigating the incident. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call Boston police at (800) 494-8477.
