Boston, MA
Familiar Pattern
UNSETTLED WEEK
Another slow-moving weather pattern is set up this week. The risk of showers and thunderstorms will be common. Temperatures will be different than last week. The stalled rotation aloft will be to our west, keeping us in a southerly flow of air making it warmer and more humid than last week.
STORM ALERTS
Wednesday will start with sunshine and warm to 80 degrees. Showers and thunderstorms will develop in the afternoon. The ingredients will be in place for some strong storms that could reach severe limits. Remember, the criteria for severe are wind gusts 58 mph or greater and/or hail at least 1″ in diameter. EVERY thunderstorm has dangerous lightning.
Thursday will be less risky but storms likely return Friday and Saturday.
