Do you recognize this man? Boston police ask public to help identify shooting suspect
Boston police are asking the public to help them identify a suspect they believe was involved in a shooting in Roxbury late last month.
The shooting took place a little after 7 a.m. on Jan. 25 at 236 Blue Hill Ave., Boston police said in a press release Friday. Officers responded to a gunfire alert at that time and spoke to witnesses at the scene.

Witnesses told officers that the suspect pictured above got out of the passenger seat of a vehicle and shot at the victim, but missed, police said. The suspect is described as Black man wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.
“The Boston Police Department will stringently guard and protect the identities of all those who wish to help this investigation in an anonymous manner,” the department wrote in the release.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact Boston police anonymously by calling 1-(800)-494-TIPS or by texting the word ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463). No further information about the shooting has been released.
