Boston prepares for students’ annual move-in day

BOSTON – Thursday is September 1, the day new leases start and a mass of scholars transfer into Boston.
As college students put together to pack Boston’s busy streets — and unpack all of their belongings — metropolis officers say they only need everybody to be protected.
That is why the town says it is taking a coordinated, cross-departmental strategy to make it possible for the move-in interval goes as easily as doable. About 60 constructing, housing and environmental sanitation inspectors can be unfold all through the town, particularly in areas with a number of college students, to reply questions and supply on-site inspections.
