Boston Mayor Michelle Wu has announced that students living in Boston and their family members can visit some of the city’s institutions free of charge.
The program is called Boston Family Days and allows preschool through 12th-grade students from Boston and two of their family members to visit nine participating institutions in an effort to “help Boston school-aged children feel at home in places that can expand their learning and show them the world,” a statement from the City of Boston reads.
The program begins in January on the first and second Sunday of each month until December 2026.
