3rd person involved in Milton head-on crash dies at Boston hospital
A 47-year-old man injured in a crash in Milton Saturday afternoon died of his injuries the next day, the third person to die as a result of the crash, the Norfolk County District Attorney’s office said.
Charles A. Ocitti, of Mattapan, was driving a Mercedes-Benz GLB 250 on Randolph Avenue in Milton when his car collided head-on with a Toyota Corolla. The driver and passenger in the Toyota, identified as Diane Myers, 71, of Dorchester, and her son, Jonathan, 39, were killed, Norfolk County District Attorney Michael Morrissey said in a statement.
Police responded to the crash at the intersection of Randolph Avenue and Hillside Street in Milton around 4:30 p.m.
Ocitti was rushed to a Boston hospital, where he died of his injuries on Sunday, Morrissey’s office said. He was the lone passenger inside the Mercedes at the time of the crash.
A third vehicle not involved in the crash was hit by debris, according to the statement.
