President Biden and Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India both described shared democratic values as being the foundation of the partnership between the countries.

Together, we’re unlocking the shared future of what I believe to be unlimited potential. And with this visit, we’re demonstrating once more how India and the United States are collaborating on nearly every human endeavor and delivering progress across the board.” Translator: “Two of the world’s largest democracies, India and America, can together make an important contribution to global peace, stability and prosperity.
