Hundreds of thousands of Puerto Rico’s homes and businesses still without power after outage
That leaves about 500,000 properties and companies with out energy in an outage that closed faculties for 2 days and induced different interruptions for Puerto Rico’s 3.2 million residents.
Energy grid operator LUMA Vitality was unable to decide to a timeline for the restoration of energy to each buyer, in keeping with an announcement on its web site.

Alternative energy plant elements ordered, official says
Firefighters extinguished flames that affected two substations on the plant, the Bureau of Puerto Rico Fireplace Departments stated Wednesday.
The reason for the fireplace is being investigated, Acevedo stated Thursday morning, including that the gear was updated on upkeep inspections.
Cleanup on the plant is underway, and substitute elements have been recognized and ordered, Acevedo stated.
