Throughout his seven years as president of California State College’s Fresno campus, Joseph Castro sparked ire amongst college students and employees for failing to heed repeated warnings that the college lacked the sources wanted to maintain ladies on campus secure.
Castro left Fresno State in December 2020 to grow to be chancellor of all the 23-campus CSU. He resigned final month amid mounting strain after a USA TODAY investigation revealed he mishandled years of sexual harassment complaints in opposition to a prime administrator as president of Fresno State.
