Father of Uvalde school shooting survivor says she’s “not the same little girl” anymore

In a pre-recorded video, 11-year-old Miah Cerrillo described to lawmakers how she survived the Robb Elementary College bloodbath by smearing her buddy’s blood over herself and pretending to be useless.

College students tried to cover behind their trainer’s desk when the gunman entered the classroom, she stated.

The gunman shot her trainer within the head, in addition to a few of her classmates, together with her buddy subsequent to her, Cerrillo stated.

When he went into the adjoining room, she received “just a little blood and I put it throughout me” and stayed quiet.

She received her trainer’s telephone to name 911. She informed the dispatcher they wanted assist and to ship the police.

Cerrillo stated all she needs is “to have safety” and that she is afraid to return to highschool for concern of one other capturing.
