BIG BEAR VALLEY, Calif. (KABC) — Someplace in all that snow that fell in Large Bear Lake this week was a pair of highly-watched bald eagles and their two eggs.

As this week’s winter storm dumped no less than 45 inches of snow on Large Bear in a span of 72 hours, the feathered couple, Jackie and Shadow, took turns incubating their two treasured eggs.

Eyewitness Information captured one of many eagles, working to maintain the eggs heat as recent powder fell.

The dad and mom and their nest had been seen lined within the recent snow introduced on by the newest storm to hit the Southland.

Extra snow is predicted on Sunday.

If all goes effectively, the bald eagle eggs might hatch any day now.
